Exile
So, as I mentioned a while ago, my computer shit the bed. Between that, work and my wife finishing up the semester (and, thus, justifiably monopolizing the computer to write finals), I haven’t had the opportunity to peruse and defile the internet as I generally preferred.
And I haven’t much missed it. I have enough time at work to read my email and run through the 72 subscriptions on...
“you like to read books?”
malty:
During the weekdays I like to bring my book to a bar and read until the basketball game starts. This shockingly does NOT mean I want to talk to people. If I wanted to talk to people I would have invited my friends, or better yet, not have brought a distraction device (book). When I bring a book to a bar it simply means I ran out of beer at home plus I don’t have cable and would like to...

My wife has class on Monday nights, so I’m left to fend for myself for dinner. It’s not that I’m incapable of cooking —- I’m more than proficient in the kitchen generally —- but I’m useless when cooking for one. So tonight, I’ve made Bachelor’s Thanksgiving, which is four fried eggs followed by Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, on account of how...

READ ME:
Michael Vick is scoring pass and rush TDs in the Georgia Dome even though he’s in his 30s. That’s exactly how the Falcons drew it up when they gave him that extension. Also, I hope the Eagles draft Colt McCoy. I’d love to see him and Andy Reid try to work a two-minute drill, which would be like watching Janet...
First Full Week
So, I work at a therapeutic day school for kids, doing some behavior management work.* I hope to put one story up here a week, every Friday or Saturday. It’s not that there won’t be something to tell every week, but more that I either won’t want to or can’t for whatever reason. Anyway, here’s week one.
During an initial meeting with a new kid, about 8, the Elementary...

I just saw this film tonight in Marin. It is a sort of reverse Super Size Me. Mixing a bit of hippie bullshit, a dash of humor, zero class consciousness, and a whole lot of amazing, the film watches a man transform his life by changing the way he ate, thought, felt and lived.
Ooh! Ooh! I can’t wait to hate the fuck out of this movie.
Yeah ... Umm ...
My computer shit the bed at the same time I got a job and then went on vacation for Thanksgiving. It just took me 15 pages to get back to the last thing I read when I stole someone’s computer for a minute. Hopefully, the computer issue will be resolved soon and I’ll be able to post again. Regardless … good work people I read. I can’t imagine I would’ve gone through 15...
